In areas where getting to school is a geographic challenge, a village volunteer will do what they can to help kids learn to read. 

The School Desert Literacy Kit

We are currently developing an early childhood reading program that can be easily transported to rural locations. We call it the School Desert Literacy Kit, which features instructional supplies, texts, and teacher materials that can be implemented with minimal training or study. We also provide train-the-trainer support for local personnel who offer ongoing assistance to the village teacher.

Our current team of educational experts in literacy and early childhood education is working closely with governments' ministries of education to ensure the programming meets national benchmark standards.
